ZTE Optik a more lively experience than similar 7-inch pills like the Kindle Flame , which has a more conventional rectangle-shaped. Calculating 7.6 by 4.7 by 0.5 inches wide (HWD), the Optik is a little bit bigger and wider than the Kindle Flame (7.5 by 4.7 by .45 inches), but it is a little bit brighter at 14.1 oz. in comparison to the Fire's 14.6 oz.. Both pills are comfortable to hold, but the Optik has a minor advantage with two grippy, plastic shields on its back. The shields lay right where you want to put your hands, making the Optik experience a little like a portable gaming gaming system. Along the top advantage are Energy and Amount control buttons, while the left and right sides house the 3.5mm earphone slot and microSD card slot, respectively. Two presenter cuts along the base provide relatively noisy but thin sound. A exclusive power slot also joins the Optik to computer systems with an involved wire.
