On the components front, the HTC Vivid gives us little to grumble about. Gone is the Cyclopsian photographic camera contact and complex accessibility that affected many prior designs, changed with a steel menu that slips up and off for quick entry to power supply, SIM and SD card.
The result is a mobile phone whose back perspectives make it seem slimmer than the specifications would have you believe. Only 5.07 inches wide high, 2.64 inches wide across and 0.44 inches wide wide, the HTC Vivid is a significant 6.24 oz., but considering what's under the cover, we don't consider the few extra oz. much of a responsibility.
